Expanding views, crossing horizons 🎥 

Mike McDaniel, the Mississippi State University 2026 Alumnus of the Year, and his wife Laura, continue to have a broad impact on student life and education at MSU. The couple, from Houston, Texas, believe strongly in the lifelong value of travel and the broadening effect it has on young minds.

Their gifts made possible the Rome Center, a facility being renovated in the heart of Rome that will offer up to 80 MSU students per semester a place to live and study during their travels of Italy. This video explores the effect MSU’s Study Abroad program has on its participants, and the impact it’s set to make upon their lives.

Legacy in Motion highlights partnership on the move

The MSU Foundation was proud to host Ergon executives, company representatives and their cohort of co-op students for a campus visit and tour on April 20.

The event, Legacy in Motion, was a gathering created to honor and bring to life the lasting impact of Ergon, Inc. and the Lampton family, who founded Ergon.
